The company began as a husband and wife team building family homes and has since expanded across California constructing large scale commercial and agricultural buildings. In January, Sky Ridge Builders' Founder and head GC started the 'Paradise Project'.  Having personally suffered a loss in the 2007 Grass Valley Fire, Sky Ridge Builders' is dedicated to helping families affected by the recent Paradise fire, rebuild their lives. Under the Paradise Project, Sky Ridge Builders has helped over one hundred people successfully claim their home insurance policy limits and rebuild.
